Join our Crystal Logic Team for a productive working environment with an English-speaking team and modern development approaches.
Together with our New York partners, we’re building a next-generation loyalty rewards platform with a consumer privacy focus. Businesses from numerous domains use the platform to connect with potential consumers and access the user network. We are re-architecting a Rails PoC to scale it and serve our white label partners’ needs and millions of customers.
We are looking for a passionate Middle/Senior Ruby on Rails engineer to join the team in NYC remotely. If you are excited by the opportunity to influence the overall architecture of our systems, interesting scalability, and privacy challenges, we would love to chat!

Requirements:

● Solid Ruby on Rails experience (2+ experience);
● Experience building, deploying & scaling SaaS APIs for public consumption;
● Strong written and oral skills;
● Ability to work remotely and independently;
● Strong desire to get things done;
● Being comfortable with iterative and incremental development;
● Willing to help your teammates, share your knowledge with them, and learn from them;

Will be a plus:

● Python experience;
● AWS experience;
● Postgres;
● Containers/Kubernetes/Microservices experience;
● Being interested in working across the software stack (Ruby on Rails, JavaScript/CoffeeScript, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch);

Responsibilities:

● Back-end development to meet customers’ business needs and implement components according to the modern software development environment;
● Proactive position in solution development, processes improvements;
● Using high coding standards, software best practices, and writing highly testable, automatable, and performant code over the whole SDLC;
